My entire reason to quit smoking has come true!

Hello everyone!

It has been 48 days smoke free and 43 days of no nicotine!

I quit smoking on Feb 23. My entire reason to quit smoking is to start a family.

Guess what!!

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant!! This baby is truly a miracle baby too as i have been told numerous times by doctors, I won't be able to conceive naturally, they were wrong! I guess it is the right time :)

They say you gain weight while quitting. Well, with the savings I kept from quitting I invested in an exercise bike and I lost weight WHILE quitting smoking! It can be done! I don't even think of smoking anymore.

It is unfortunate that my husband still smokes.. He's doing really well by cutting down everyday though. The smell is so much stronger to me now and the smell on my husband (not smoke) makes me cough and feel sick.

I don't know how to tell him without hurting his feelings. I have been hard on him for smoking and I think I should step back a bit. It is just such a super strong smell to me. I really hate it.

congratulations on a couple of good fortunes E&s from old sydney town. I feel that Cuba & Happiness's domain here.
However, with my girlfriend having had her last cigarette over a year before my last one helped so so much to make my last puff, permanent too!

    Congratulations on both counts E&S.

Hopefully you can find something to mask the smell and make it more pleasant to have hubby in your space. You could use the pregnancy as an excuse, as I quit when I was pregnant and hated the smell. I also gagged when I put a toothbrush in my mouth.

We are all individuals and deal with things differently. You conceived naturally despite a doctors overall experience . I bet you also quit smoking more easily than you had anticipated. When the stress and worry is off and accepted, miracles happen!

Puff-No-More has a very different story than mine. No one is more valuable than another because each has an audience that identifies. When we can share information and positively impact anothers experience and success, ....That is what truly matters. I hope that more people will relay their stories and experiences and impart a few words of wisdom. Instill belief in others so that they too can have a happy ending.

    Again, Best Wishes and Congratulations!
