Hi fellow valiant Quitters,

Just after midnight on my Day 01.

My last cigarette was around 230 PM yesterday.

Don't we all hate this habit? I have had so many last cigarettes in my mind. Never vocalized it. Never shared it in an online forum. Just promises to self that I easily broke when the urges hit.

My triggers are mostly related to work stress. I often don't smoke during the weekends. I usually stay smoke-free during the holidays. However, during the normal working week, I am a smoker. The closet type. Hiding away, smoking on my own, washing and hiding the smell away! The downside of being a closet smoker is, the binging when you smoke. I have read that binge smoking is even more harmful than regular smoking because of the enormous stress it creates in our bodies.

I wanted to come out, share my quit journey, cheer others who are fighting with me in the trenches, and get inspired from you guys, who are valiantly beating this evil, one minute, one hour, one day at a time.

Keep going guys. We can do this.
