I posted several months ago saying I was pregnant and struggling to quit. I am happy to say my baby boy is born. After 2/3 months of staying quit I didn't have any cravings or thoughts about smoking.
Since having a baby, sometimes I really crave. One time I was so overwhelmed, I got in the car to intentionally buy cigarettes.
The only thing that worked was going down the baby aisle and really concentrating on my son. I usually end up buying something for him.
I just want to let everyone know, it does get easier. I quit for my baby at first but now I quit for my family.
I would also utilise quitline. They are amazing, supportive and patient. Do what you can (within reason) to make quitting easier.
Good luck everyone!
