Prescription vape

Tried quitting in the past. Had the best success with cold turkey but haven't been able to do that again. Tried Champix, patches, inhaler, gum etc..didn't last.

I got a prescription vape and I'm almost 5 days smoke-free. Yes, I know I'm still addicted to nicotine but I've never found it easier to refrain from smoking and I'm positive my nicotine intake is less than what it would be. I've already reduced my vaping and I'm optimistic that my vaping will reduce to the point of non-use.

Never felt more positive about quitting. I was spending $400 a week on smokes, I can't believe I did that now.

Anyway, for those heavy smokers out there who have tried numerous times to quit, give prescription vaping a go.

I commend you for sticking with the effort of quitting smoking and it a first step. Nicotine is not the only problem though. We are habitual creatures and miss the routine of having a puff with our coffee etcetera. I think that that is the hardest and longest part of quitting smoking. Nicotine is an addictive drug, but it is the smoke and tar and chemicals that are far worse. Vaping is new, but is it any better for your lungs and overall health? How costly is this prescription vaping and are you really satisfied with the results and prepared to take the risk of continuing long term?

The same can be said for NRT's , and several members have found themselves just as addicted to them. Face it, Nicotine is nicotine but it is just being consumed in a different way.

Any method of quitting smoking is good for a short time if it achieves the ultimate goal.
