Notes on my first three days of no smoking.

Day 1 - 5th Nov '23 - wasn't too terrible. I didn't get much done because I was spending every ounce of concentration I had fighting off cravings, but I got through it a lot better than I thought I would.

Day 2 - 6th Nov '23 - a little bit easier than day 1, and I got some useful things done around the yard that I'd been procrastinating about. Spending not-smoking anxious energy on all those procrastination physical jobs in the yard worked wonders.

Day 3 - 7th Nov '23 - a lot harder than day 1, but I got through it. It was too hot to do a repeat of day 2, and I got nothing useful done except show up for a medical related appointment, but I didn't give in to my cravings. Yay, go me.

Well done. I'm planning to quit tomorrow and your honest recount really helps! I've heard a lot of people say Day 3 is quite hard. I hope you continue to be kind to yourself and know that it will pass. I think one of the hardest things for me is knowing that I'll be a write off for a few days. But it will be worth it.
