Earlier last year I experienced having a Bilateral Lung Collapse with a phemothorax on both lungs. I had tried to quit with patches and ended up relapsing until early December 23 when I experienced my right lung had collapsed again, so I was sent to RPAH in Sydney where I ended up having my right lung operated on and glued with this special Talc Glue to enable my lung to stay up. It's been 3 weeks post op now and I have been back on Nicabate patches since 4th December when I went to hospital suffering with a collapsed lung. I have worked out that I smoked for 35years and it appears that I have done quite alot of damage to my lungs. There are times through out the day I crave for a cigarette, but I don't give in due to what I went through in hospital, having a drain inside my right lung both before and after my operation and also seeing other patients around me experience the same. I do hope that my story helps others 🙏 to give up smoking and quit for at least their own health but
