I have failed, but not beaten

I have had many previous attempts of quitting. But I don’t want to that to be the end of my story. Each failed attempt has taught me a lesson, that I will use as my experience to succeed this time. I am starting my journey all over again tomorrow.

Those who are in my boat( I know many of you are out there). Probably you are frustrated with yourself, angry with you self, for what is it that if we can’t keep a promise to ourselves.. how can we trust others?

But don’t underestimate the enemy we are dealing with. It’s one of the most powerful addictions.

Pray to the God, seek support from your loved ones. Take one day at a time. We can do this

Nice to see you picking yourself up, dusting off and ready to resume this quest. It is a win when we learn something about ourselves and nicotine through our trials and errors. Every attempt brings you closer to finding the mindset and success.
I find it amazing that you can go the weekend without smoking, but then we also sleep through the night without waking every 40 minutes to light up. I think this just reaffirms that the need to smoke is more in our minds than on an actual dependence on an addictive substance. We are stronger than we think and once we can tip the scales to wanting to

wanting to quit smoking more than wanting to smoke, we will succeed. We only continue smoking to avoid those cravings. We need to know that they are temporary and only as strong as your allow them to be. We need to believe that we can endure a short time of discomfort for the long term gain. I truly believe that desire and positive thinking are key.

It's great that you are committed to quitting and not letting your past attempts be your reality. You seem determined to succeed. Hold on to that determination and resolve as you go through the rough days. Stay strong 💪

It’s great that you are giving it another go. It sounds like you are very determined and this is what will see you through to ther side which is Freedom.
You need never to have to deal with this addiction again In my own experience it does take a while for some it can take longer than others. Everyone is different so don’t beat yourself up. Cravings are just thought forms. They only have as much power over you as you give them. Stress in all it’s forms is possibly the biggest reason why people smoke. You have to learn new ways of managing stress and taking up exercise is very helpful
