Can anyone tell me the benefits of eating carrots when quitting smoking please

    I thought you might be to something, but I think they toot it for keeping your hands busy eating nutritiously. They mention about carrots getting rid of nicotine quicker, but that I do not see as a benefit overall. Patches and nrt's are to keep nicotine steady as to ease your quit (cravings). Alcohol also diminished nicotine which is while we chainsmoked while drinking. Carrots of course are nutritious and good for health and eyesight.

    As Happiness said it is a distraction to help keep your hands and mouth busy, while giving you something nutritious to eat, a psychological ploy to play into tricking your mental apparatus. I don't like carrots so it wouldn't work for me.
    You need to find something that works for you in the hand to mouth or just breath in and out deeper and slowly for a few minutes.

    I smoked carrots and celery for about 3 weeks.
    I didnt set light to them , 'cause I threw away all lighters.
