10 days and tracking well

I'm 10 days in and it feels like I have totaly revamped and changed my whole lifestyle. Firstly I am sleeping so well! I am waking up with a lot more energy and a whole lot fresher.

I have been eating a whole lot of fruit, veggies, chicken and beans. I've also been drinking a lot of water. I feel like am flushing out all the beer, toxins and bad crap that has consumed me for to long.

Exercise has really given me something to look forward to every day. I have started to fall in love with swimming of all things! The last 3 days I have been swimming 80 laps of the local 25mtr indoor pool (2 kms a day).

I have quit before a few times but ended up caving in. This time it feels different, I'm feeling optimistic. The cravings aren't to bad and I'm only having 1 or 2 a day. They don't take long to pass.

Keep sharing all of your stories, I love sitting down to read them.

Fight the good fight and good luck everyone

Good Job, BW, it's amazing this non-smoking malarkey, isn't it!!! :) The exercise is a lovely feeling. You're doing brilliantly, you should be very proud. Keep vigilant and keep your chin up. :)

Great stuff. I am on day 60 and saving for a cruise. Feeling pretty good after being a smoker from age 15. Am now 65 and surprised how well it is going.
    Keep up the great work.

Hey Crissie the first 14days are the hardest. We all had to go through it . I am on nearly 35 days now and cravings diminished significantly. So, hang in there, buy some nrt and continue chatting with us all on this site. Cheers.
