It’s important to know, that if you have never smoked tobacco, there are no health benefits to vaping.

If you currently smoke and have made attempts to quit using other methods, there may be some benefit to switching to vaping for a short period to quit smoking.

There are other methods for quitting smoking that have been proven safe and effective, including NRT, cessation medications and behavioural therapies. The long-term outcomes related to vaping are not yet known.

Talk to a doctor about the best option for you.

You will need a doctor’s prescription if you choose to vape to help you stop smoking.
